Relationships are hard. Sometimes it feels like you’re not connecting or understanding each other. You feel lonely, stressed, or hopeless. Sometimes it feels like you fight about the same issue like you’re in a never-ending loop and its frustrating because you just want to get on the same page. Or maybe you’re hurt because of infidelity and you don’t know how to heal. Help is here. Have no regrets and take a chance with couples counseling.
Participating in couples counseling early in your relationship can help you feel more connected and increase satisfaction. The idea is to strengthen the relationship and build a foundation for the long-term.
Are you experiencing anxiety or depression? Or maybe even scary thoughts that are concerning to you? Are you feeling disconnected from your newborn baby? And maybe you are feeling guilt because of it.
Are you finding it hard being pregnant? You don’t find yourself “glowing” like everyone says you’re supposed to. Or you don’t have the support you want and you feel like you’re going through these changes alone. Maybe your pregnancy was unplanned or unexpected and now you’re feeling anxious and don’t know what to do or how to feel.
Conception to after birth can be a tough time for all parties involved. It can bring up a lot of emotions and changes that you aren’t prepared for. However, help is here. Let me help you navigate these emotions and get you on the track to feeling better.
Are you struggling with all the demands as a new parent? Or maybe you already have a few children and feel stressed. Maybe you are overwhelmed, exhausted, and trying to find balance. Are you frustrated that you and your partner can’t seem to agree on how to parent? Or are you feeling judged as a parent and now you’re not sure if you are doing anything right. Or maybe with the busyness of parenting you lost your identity.
Help is here. Counseling can help give you support and help you navigate your life as a parent. It can also help you find yourself again and help you become the person you once were. Let me help you find the joy of parenthood and peace within yourself.
Fatherhood can be tough…
Check out this Wednesday night group for support. This group is a safe place to share experiences, build community, and learn things such as how your own family history influences your parenting style, how to form secure attachments with your child(ren), how to support a partner who is going through postpartum, how to empathically talk with your child(ren) and partner, how to self-regulate and manage anger/frustration, et cetera. This group’s goal is to help prepare for fatherhood, improve parenting skills, improve relationships with partners, and overall make fatherhood less stressful and more successful.
*This is an open group, meaning you are welcomed to join at anytime. Group is on Wednesdays at 6PM. Call or email for more details and to get signed up. See you there dads!
